Mastering should not be overlooked...

Mastering is the final stage after mixing of any audio that is about to be released. It is fine tuning the audio
to sound as good as it can across many playback systems.
Mastering has become much lower in cost over the years and it
allows your music to maximize it's sonic potential. It is seriously worth considering for you muso's : )
