The Groove Technicians

Playing all things house, but with emphasis on the best of funky and the soulful, it is a rare honour to have The Groove Technicians perform a headline set in their hometown at this event.

Arran Lee
2010 was a big year for Arran, becoming the weekly resident for Clinik at V Club in Ibiza in addition to guest slots at Café Paradiso and Kanya.
He also launched his weekly radio show ‘Music Therapy’ on Canadian station, made his debut in Japan, mainland Spain and London. 2011 sees him pick up where 2010 left off, with appearances in London and his debut in the USA in March. Arran’s musical style draws upon a range of styles and influences, and his upbeat and accessible sets of high quality electronic dance music ensuring a memorable experience for everyone who witnesses him perform.

Stefan Groove
Many DJ’s come and go over the years, some stay for longer than others, then some go the full nine yards. It is in the latter category we find Stefan Groove.
With a dance music history spanning some 18 years, he is truly a DJ that has not only adapted but evolved with the ever changing climate of dance music. From the echoes of the screaming warehouse party scene in the north of England during the late eighties and early nineties through to the present day, he has stayed with the cutting edge of the scene whilst never forgetting his firm roots. Many club nights and private underground parties down the line, he secured regular local residencies, slowly developing his own style, not to mention a following to it. His DJ quest has led him nationwide, breaking south he has slammed parties in Oxford and the Midlands, as well as all over the North. Currently a regular guest spinner at the renowned all day Back2Mine day club in Leeds, he continues to shine on the decks and is no stranger to playing along side the likes of Brandon Block, Rob Tissera and Marc Leaf.

Gareth Davies
Aged just 19, Gareth gained his first residency at Beluga Bar in Cleethorpes where he discovered his love for upfront house music.
Gareth’s popularity rocketed from here on in and he conquered every big night around, gaining residencies that saw him playing at events such as Koolwaters, Ultrasonic and Electrik Playground., further establishing himself as the areas finest House DJ.
His profile was boosted by supporting DJs such as Judge Jules, Marco V, Boy George, Matt Hardwick, Simon Patterson, Hayley Parsons, Kate Lawler, K-Klass, Alister Whitehead, Riley and Durrant, Lee Haslam and many more.Currently resident for Apparition at the The Pier Nightclub (Cleethorpes), Gareth recently performed at the UK’s largest nightclub, Syndicate in Blackpool and won the Nocturnal Sheffield DJ competition.
