Kerry Katona Held By Armed Burglars

Former Atomic Kitten Kerry Katona and her baby daughter have been held captive by armed burglars at their home in Wilmslow.

Ex Atomic Kitten Kerry KatonaAt around midnight last night, a masked gang, armed with a sledgehammer, crowbar and large kitchen knife, held Ms Katona and her daughter in a room while her husband, Mark Croft, was taken through the house by raiders.

Ms Katona's publicist Max Clifford told Sky News: "One was holding a knife to Kerry's throat while the others ran round the house looking for valuables."




The robbers took Mr Croft back to his family before locking them all in a room.

The three burglars then stole around £100,000-worth of goods, including the couple's BMW, two computers and jewellery.

The couple managed to free themselves from the room at around 12.30am and alerted police.

The Cheshire Police spokeswoman said: "They were not harmed but were left shaken by their ordeal."

Max Clifford said his client was "in a dreadful state" after her "horrible experience".
