MAIN ROOM

Returning to the spotlight with a new album planned for 2011 is Armand Van Helden who plays an exclusive set at Gateacrasher. His previous productions "Hear My Name," "My My My," and "Let Me Lead You" remind us of the brilliance of early classics “The Funk Phenomena”, "You Don't Know Me" and "Witchdokta." With tracks like these Van Helden became THE name for forward-thinking pop artists to recruit for remixing duty from the Rolling Stones, Janet Jackson to Puff Daddy and Daft Punk. But how does someone who doesn't like remixes continue to turn out work that rivals his classic remixes of ‘Sugar is Sweeter’ by CJ Bolland, ‘Professional Widow’ by Tori Amos ‘Spin Spin Sugar’ by Sneaker Pimps? Fast forward to 2009 and he features on Dizzee Rascal’s no.1 smash “Bonkers” before hooking up Canadian DJ A-Trak to create "aNYway", which was released in October under the name Duck Sauce . The duo later gained chart success with their club smash "Barbra Streisand". There’s also a new album planned for this year packed full of “soccer stadium style" anthems.

Van Helden is joined by DJ Sneak. A man like DJ Sneak needs no introduction to the House music fraternity, he’s a true Chicago legend who has been integral part of the clubbing landscape for over 20 years now. Sneak was a legend on the Chicago circuit during the early 1980. A chance meeting with Cajmere and Green Velvet creator Curtis Jones led to pivotal releases on Jones’ two iconic labels, Relief and Casual, and so began a rapid rise to the top. By the mid-90s Sneak was revolutionizing clubland with his unique disco-filter house sound; a sound that would lead to monster Teddy Pendergrass-sampling hit You Can’t Hide From Your Bud, and would create a favourable impression on output from the similarly influential likes of Daft Punk and Armand Van Helden. Today the buzz around him is as feverish as it has ever been.
Gatecrasher favourite Oliver Lang joins the party. It's been another top year for DJ, Producer and Label Owner Oliver Lang With tracks out on leading labels Toolroom, Spinnin & Blackhole, his continuing legendary residency with Bora Bora in Ibiza and two new residencies with Gatecrasher and Perverted Audio, combined with dates all over the globe and for leading venues including Sankeys Manchester, Honey Club Brighton, Versuz Belgium, Matter London and Privilege Ibiza Plus the launch of his new label DOJO Oliver has all the boxes well and truly ticked!

Completing the main-room line up are Gatecrasher residents Martin Wright and Dave Thatcher.

Room 2

Mistakes' head honcho, Sebastien Leger hosts his awesome Mistakes Music party in Mansion. Producer, DJ and label owner Sebastien Leger continues to provide the world with an inspiring selection of French house, and modern techno. He truly lives for today and the future and it is reflected in the music he produces. He is constantly at the forefront of new technology and utilizes the newest available resources in order to keep his tracks fresh. If you wanted to use on artist as an example of dance music's diverse nature, then Sebastien Léger would have to be your man. Over ten years on from his first releases as Deaf 'n' Dumb Crew back in 1998, Léger has built on his skills release records on other people's labels as wide-ranging as Carl Cox's Intec Records, Eric Prydz's Pryda and Josh Wink's Ovum as well as his housier offerings on his own his own label Mistakes Music. But that's only half the story. Léger also got away with a remix - having worked his magic for the likes of Groove Armada, Eric Prydz Justin Timberlake, David Gahan (of Depeche Mode) and Duran Duran.

Sebastien is joined by Uto Karem. Seemingly leading the pack of Italy’s rising stars is Uto Karem, who in just a short period of time has produced hit after hit with forward thinkingdance tracks that are fast becoming staples for DJs everywhere, with an ability to infuse cutting edge machine music with soulful grooves. Uto Karem is currently making a real name for himself. His productions have found him fans that include the likes of Dubfire, Richie Hawtin, John Acquaviva, Marco Carola, Chris Liebing and many more.

Completing the line up are Birmingham upstarts Rebekah, Alex Schmidt and Gaz James.

Room 3 Rock N Rolla

Three of Birmingham’s leading RocknRolla’s are joining forces to present the ultimate Arkade party experience. If you are internally wired to push boundaries of how to party on a Saturday night, if your body responds to pulsing beats and your mind is receptive to all manner of sensory pleasures - and you automatically gravitate to others who are like minded - you are a rocknrolla.Rock n Rolla's Micky Slim & Will Bailey are two of the biggest and most influential DJ’s & Producers to rise from the West Midlands area in the last decade. Not only are these guys playing their sounds worldwide, but are also renowned for their credible record labels. Rue Jay is a notable Birmingham promoter providing sell out parties in and around Birmingham for the last 10 years as well as a top house DJ.
