Expect 4 days of an eclectic mix of the best electronic dance music artists from around the Globe. 24 hour entertainment spread across 3 stages playing music filled with an abundance of art and interactive performances along with a fully immersive programme presenting a range of artists and musicians in electronic dance music styles ranging from Psy trance, Goa trance, techno, progressive, psy breaks, chillout/Ambient, minimal techno, house, breaks, live acoustic.

Children under 12 will be allowed at the festival for free when accompanied by adult parent/guardian. Cosmo Kids Zone will feature games, performances, craft workshops, circus performances and many more fun family activities. Cosmo Festival 2012 is pleased to announce that it has now been granted its 24-hour license from 14:00 on Friday 1 June until 12:00 midday on Monday 4 June.

The only exception is between 18:00 and 20:00 on Sunday 3rd of June. This is in celebration and respect for Her Royal Majesty the Queen and her diamond jubilee celebrations.

Church bells will be rung across Taunton at this time and as we’re quite close to a church that’s having a service to celebrate, and as we are on Crown land and have been given permission from the Crown to hold Cosmo 2012, we think it’s appropriate.

We’ll be celebrating in our own way while the sound systems are off with the Cosmo 2012 Jubilee Team Challenge.

We’ve been hard at work at Cosmo HQ to ensure that not only is this going to be our most musically diverse festival yet, but the most visually stimulating. So we’re very excited about the Cosmo 2012 Arts Village, which will display an amazing spectrum of some of the finest visionary art, presented by the artists who’ll be onsite explaining the inspiration behind their work.

As well as exhibitions from Robbie’s psy art gallery and Elixir of Life curated by Emma Watkinson, Pouyan Khosravi’s Pineal Visions will have you seeing visions of your own! There’s also ink works from Rowan Koshui and Sam Tomes will be creating one of his custom-made cosmic masterpieces especially for Cosmo! Cognitive Dissidents are on board with their incredible UV décor and there’s still plenty more to come…
