| Ok, a quick round-up from myself. As usual I spent to much time running between tents and once again ended up only hearing a couple of full sets (I always do this at PL!) Anyway, arrived at PL and went straight to the Love tent and caught the end of Armin's set. Really enjoyed what I was there for and was loving it when he dropped 'Communication' After that we had a walk around and checked the place out. Headed to the VIP for a few drinks etc. Next I headed off to the System X tent for one of two acts I'd singled out as a must - DJ Force & MC Junior. Got to the System X tent only to discover that Force & Junior had came on an hour early and I only caught the last two tunes - hugely disappointed! I've been a Force & Styles fan all my life and was really looking foward to this! I should have taken this opportunity to catch Bass Generator (my other must-see act) but instead I stayed for the first half of Re-con's set, which was a bit disappointing. Next up was Jules in the Love tent and the place was pretty packed. Not a bad set from what I can remember and I stayed for most of his set. Caught bits and pieces of other sets before going to see QFX (who once again is a group of completely new people). They played some favourites like 'Freedom', 'Children of the Night', and 'Discoland', that got the packed tent going mad. They also played a couple of tracks from their new album. I have to admit I preferred the 'new QFX' to the one I saw two years ago at PL. Anyway, after QFX it was over to see Dogzilla live who completely blew me away. And when the fireworks went off over the stage as they were playing 'Without You' it was by far my favourite Planet Love moment of all time At midnight I headed over to hear Mark Wesley in the crowd fatigued Coach tent. Wesley was playing some excellent trance and all I can say is that he looked like he was enjoying himself Went to get some water about 12.30am and ended up staying in the VIP listening to some dirty 80's Disco from the Futureheads, which was refreshingly different from what I had heard throughout the rest of the day. After that I caught about 20 minutes of PVD's set and I must admit the crowd looked like they were totally loving it. They were in awe of the German trance maestro. And alas, Planet Love 07 was at an end. Or so I thought until the Essential Mix came on Radio 1 with Above & Beyond from PL, followed by another PL mix in the form of Marcus Schulz. So all in all I had a great day, but missed so many acts that I had planned to see; Force & Junior, Matt Hardwick, Bass Generator, Scanners, Babyshambles and Fedde le Grand to name but a few. Maybe next year I'll force myself to stay in one tent long enough to catch a few full sets Thanks to anyone who actually took the time to read all this Roll on PL 08 | |

| Oldskool tent was packed, not many about the hardcore tent I'm afraid. I think the Coach tent and Hardcore tent would have gotten bigger crowds if they were positioned somewhere in between the Love and Goodgrief tents - as people would have waundred in to them as they were moving between the bigger tents. Maybe they'll do that next year though | |

| Never stepped foot in to it once Combat...
The only person playing in the GoodGrief tent who would have interested me was John Askew. He was absloutley fantastic the last time we were at Gatecrasher. | |

| Can't stand hardstyle myself. IMO the majority of people who follow it just like it because of the heavy bass. | |
